Nokhwezi Edu Centre is a day care centre which accommodates children between 3 months and 6 years of age in the Mfuleni district of Blackheath, situated in the northern suburbs of Cape Town.

This centre, which has 5 members of staff, has been catering for the needs of approximately 80 young children for a number of years; however with no regular donors or strategic fund raising plan, the maintenance of the centre had deteriorated and is now in urgent need of an upgrade.

This project was completed in one weekend!

12^th - 14^th September 2008

This was a hugely rewarding project for everyone involved - giving to someone, who cannot repay you, is one of the most rewarding experiences in life!

A project such as this has a huge 'feel good' factor and a great way of building team spirit.
